Out-of-Print Issues of the Dispatch

This page lists the back issues of the Dispatch that are out-of-print. We have put them here as a public service to our members, and other persons interested in the history of Milwaukee "Lines West", but are unable to get hard copies because they are out-of-print.  Please remember that these issues are still copyrighted by MilWest, and no material contained in these issues may be reproduced or used for any purpose other than personal research and information, without permission from MilWest.

These files are in Adobe Acrobat™ PDF format. To view them you must have Acrobat Reader™ installed on your computer. Acrobat Reader™ is available as a free download at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Notes on viewing back issues: We have recently tested these PDF pages linked below in several browsers. We have tested with Internet Explorer 6.0.2™,  Netscape 8.1™, Opera 9.02™, and Firefox 1.07™. Each browser opens Acrobat Reader™ as the file is downloaded after you click on the desired back issue link. These PDF's were created in Acrobat 5.0™ so should view properly in most versions of Acrobat Reader. We recommend, however, that you always obtain and use the latest version of Acrobat Reader. The last version available for Windows 98™ is Version 6. Version 7 is the newest but requires Windows XP™ or similar to run. If thumbnails of the pages do not automatically appear in Acrobat Reader, you should be able to click on the "page" tab on the left of your screen to see the page thumbnails. Thumbnails provide a way to quickly navigate to a particular page. You can save or print the pages for later viewing. These pages have not been tested with browsers other than listed above and we make no warranty as to how they will work with other browsers. Be aware these are large files (average 2 Mb or greater, some a much larger) and will have significant download times at slower speeds. A high-speed Internet connection is highly recommended. Its a trade-off between document resolution and download speed. Scanning at higher resolution produces easier to read documents, but longer download times. For those who download these, please let us know which you prefer, higher resolution or smaller files.
